Dog Licening in Verde Valley

Dog licenses and dog tags are important. They are also the law.
A lost dog with a tag can quickly be returned to owners. Proof of rabies vaccination is required to purchase a license which protects communities from the spread of rabies. Licenses are generally required for all dogs over 3 months of age. Yavapai County Dog Licensing

LOCATED IN Yavapai County. SERVES YAVAPAI COUNTY. a resource oF Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.

Arizona State Statute 11-1008 Dog license requirements for the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County. Dog licenses can be renewed annually or purchased up to three years in conjunction with your rabies vaccination. Dogs 3 months of age and older must be vaccinated for the rabies virus by a DVM and wear a current Yavapai County Dog License. (Dog licenses are available annually).
Dog licenses may be purchased from the Yavapai Humane Society, YCSO Locations, and low-cost spay and neuter clinics.
